Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply.
Email signups. If you sign up for our checklists, we collect your email address, and optionally your first name, which breed you're interested in, and whether you're shopping for a puppy or already own one. We use this to send you the checklist and about one email a month with guides and recommendations, some of which contain affiliate links.
Litter alerts. Only if you tick the litter alerts box, we'll also email you when breeders we trust have litters available. We send these emails ourselves. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address or other information with breeders or anyone else.
Basic visit data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We may also use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which guides are useful. This data is used in aggregate, not to identify you.
Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts load.
Affiliate links and cookies
When you click an affiliate link, the company you visit may set a cookie to record that you came from our site. That company's own privacy policy applies to anything you do on their site.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your personal information, and we don't run third-party advertising on this site.
